This season we will see Flora making her debut with three well known companies, and premiering two new operas with Houston Grand Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, and Florida Grand Opera.

 

Flora received her Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Houston on May of 2018. While studying at the University of Houston she performed the roles in Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri (Elvira), premiered the leading role in Nelson’s The School for Scandal (Lady Teazle), Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Sigretto (Carolina), Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges (Princess Ninetta),and Ward’s The Crucible (Sarah Good). She also performed the leading role in Donizetti’s Viva La Mama (Corilla) with Houston’s Lone Star Lyric Opera. She recieved her Bachelor's of Music degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in December of 2015. While studying at Stephen F. Austin State University she performed the leading roles in Weill’s Street Scene (Rose) and in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta)
